The Department of Business Administration, R.B. Gothi Jain College for Women, organized a Women Safety Awareness Programme on 10 July 2026 at Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ponneri for school students. The programme was conducted under the guidance of our Respected principal Dr. Mrs. M. Mahalakshmi and with the support of our beloved Vice Principal Mrs. K. Geetha.

The primary objective of the programme was to create awareness among girl students regarding personal safety, cyber safety, legal rights and self-defense techniques. 

Ms.Varsha II BBA and Ms. Yamini II BBA addressed various important topics including Personal Safety Awareness, Cyber Safety and Online Security, Legal Rights and Protection, Interactive Safety Activities and Self-Defense Basics. Students were educated about identifying safe and unsafe situations, responsible use of social media platforms, online privacy, cybercrime prevention and legal provisions available for the protection of women. Information regarding emergency helpline numbers such as 1091 and 112 was also shared with the participants.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the message “Empowered Women, Safe Women, Stronger Society.”
